'22-23 WAC Champions
In their inaugural season in the WAC, the Southern Utah Thunderbirds made a historic run and put themselves in the record books. The TBirds went 16-2 in conference, winning the WAC Regular Season Title, and then went on to win their 1st ever Conference Tournament Title and clinched their 1st ever automatic bid into the NCAA Tournament. The Tbirds finished the year 23-10 and earned Coach of the Year, multiple All-Conference honors, Defensive Player of the Year, Sixth Woman of the Year, and Newcomer of the Year.
The TBirds won their program's 1st ever Conference Tournament title and finished the regular season with a record of 23-9.
Cherita Daugherty, Megan Jensen, and Tomekia Whitman earned All-WAC Tournament team honors. Cherita was also named the Most Outstanding Player.
The TBirds clinched their program's 1st ever NCAA Tournament Appearance and was selected as a 14 seed.
